Date Night (early concept stuff)

Meet Mayelin! Or May for short, a university student and your classmate who you finally worked up the nerve to ask out. You and May have been in the same friend circle for about a year, but this is your first actual date, one you never expected you'd have considering how cute, pleasant, and stylish May is and how neurotic you are. But how will the night end? It's up to you, maybe! This is a very early day one preview of a new project I was thinking of starting. Here's the deal: I've been wanting to do some "choose your own adventure"- style stories lately, which is possible but awkward to do with either imagesets or videos. I've also been thinking of learning to do very basic coding, at least to get some knowledge in that subject. So I downloaded Ren'Py and am starting to figure out how to use it. I figure other people have made games in this and RPGMaker with Koikatsu assets, so why can't I. I might even try to write a few basic musical pieces to go along with it, though definitely no guarantees there - I'm just tired of always using Kevin MacLeod's stuff. If I do get Ren'Py down and find some time to work on it, I'll be ready to start, because I have the entire scenario already written in my mind. The focus would be NTR (big fucking shock, I know - but I'm sure you could have guessed from that screen already) though with the possibility of totally avoiding the NTR and going plain vanilla if you so desire by making the right decisions. I'm thinking most of the game would consist of POV shots, visual novel-style, but with a few different angles in sex scenes. Possibly a few videos as well if I can figure that out too, and assuming Ren'Py lets me do it. This feels a little too ambitious for me at this point, since I don't even count as an amateur in this area. But I want to keep improving my work, and if I can finally make my own janky h-game, I'll be very happy. I think I'd most likely put it out for free assuming I can finish the damn thing, but maybe I can post it early for supporters or something, just as I'm making this first post exclusive for now until I have a little more confidence that I can actually do this.
