As always thanks to all the Donors and Patrons who have continued to support us, every contribution is helping us commission brand new assets for Evo getting us closer to having a complete roster, but let's get started on some updates on the state of development.

Versus Modes
We've continued to work on the launcher for the Versus/Ladder Gamemode along with the core features to transfer players to the selected maps, award MMR points and a few other features.

This is a pre-alpha sneak peek and while we're still working on several UI elements, models and the coding itself, we'll continue to chip away at it with a beta starting sometime in the near future.
On the other hand we've been working with several talented mapmakers to create and curate a Map Pool that will be used for the first Season of the Ranked Mode as we've released several of these maps such as Paradoxx and Monty Hall
as well as two new never before seen maps such as a brand new map created by AVEX called Hydrocarbon, with a layout heavily inspired by BroodWar map layouts with some funky experimental features

New Assets


Among other things we're working on new models for the entire Terran Infantry as well as the winners of the Polls, these new models are being Rigged and Animated currently and are expected to be released with Update 2.0.


For Update 2.0 we're also updating several of our existing Unit and Building models for the Zerg, by adding all their missing Animations as well as updating the textures to better match the SC2 Unit Roster
We are also making new assets for maps themselves whether it be new Terrain Textures, Doodads and other Campaign Assets.



Using these and several other Assets made by our team members we'll be updating our already released maps as well as properly remake upcoming maps for both Multiplayer and Campaign

A couple comparison shots of the new textures being used, although most require us to do a full repaint as they look quite different and are not blended properly
As far as new content on the Loomings Episode we've got 3 new Mercenary Units being made complete with new models, a new Hero Model and 16 new Abilities across 5 Missions.
We do not yet have a release window as there's quite a bit of work being done across Models, Effects, Buildings, Units as well as some Doodads for the Campaign
As previously stated we'll be having a closed Campaign Beta for Patrons and Donors as we are close to the Release and afterwards the Campaign will be available in both Mapsters and the SC2 Arcade.
Development has taken a while due to the amount of things we're doing at the same time but in the future we hope once we've finished all the Core Units and Buildings to have a smoother and faster development time on upcoming Campaign Episodes
