which means, once again, it's just about time for credit updates. Newcomers, welcome and thank you = ) Once patreon gets its crap in gear I will be able to update all of the credits for the month. Thank you everyone = ) Working on a lot right now and it seems promising.

Comments

You're welcome = ) I try to reply to everyone. I probably spend 2+ hours every day just on responding to comments/messages. lol No need to feel guilty = ) I appreciate it though. Really helps.

enormous thanks for a reply, most especially such a lightening fast replay. Your advice on using Mod Organizer 2 to create different Fallout 3 or 4 or FNV profiles is golden. Can now run an experimental FO3, or two, and then incorporate the safe ones into FO3 My Way Stable version, and as I understand it all before freezing FO3 My Way by doing the one time Clean Up. Off to become a minor patron so I don't feel guilty bugging you when I get stuck in the future. :)

That's a lot of Michaels = ) The only way to do that with your ini files would be to use Mod Organizer 2, and have the ini files different profile to profile. Other managers use the vanilla locations so it can't be done any other way that I am aware of. MO2 is what you want.

re Fallout 3 Big question: How would it be possible to run separate installs of a Fallout game without the Fallout.ini and FalloutPref.ini files becoming an unusable mess? I’d like to have a pristine Fallout 3 My Way Fallout install and a separate Fallout 3 with experimental mod addons. The results of the experiments would inform decision to add mods to the Fallout My Way install. Btw, I have multiple HDs, to include externals if that would be useful with this project. First, I want to share that your videos for upgrading and improving a video game are the best I have ever seen. The depth and painstaking precision are unmatched. And as you’ve shared the amount of time involved is staggering. If I can get over this current bump in the road I’ll be becoming a Patron at a modest level. The Patron project is a fascinating development. Second, I should mention I am coming back to the Fallout World with a bit a bitterness and suspicion. I find the products deeply engaging, but horribly unstable – undoubtable supported by my ignorant installations. A bit ago I repeatedly invested many hours in gameplay of Fallout 4 and was unable to progress out of the NW corner of the map without crashes that seemed to corrupt my save games. Now I wonder if I might have survived had I periodically stored save games in a separate folder unknown to the Fallout 4 program. Currently, desiring to struggle successfully through your tutorials on installation to achieve a long term stable install with which to explore all the nooks and crannies of the various Fallout Worlds, but I seem to keep bumping into issues – hence my bugging you. More egotistically, maybe if I, as a person mildly familiar with mods and addons, is confused, perhaps my confusion might justify a few added comments to the text regarding your videos. And example of my confusion is the issue of what version of Mod Organizer I should be using. Looking more carefully at the way Nexusmods lists it’s files, I’m seeing there seems little order in the listings, certainly not chronological order. I find my question resolves into, if there is a newer release of MO1 available should I use it rather than the older version of MO1 in your video and should I install MO2 rather than MO1? Hoping to hear from you. William
