I don't know how many people out there realize the amount of hours that I put into GamerPoets. When I'm "slacking" (like this past summer where I was full of self doubt and burnt out again) I was doing 40 hours a week. I'm now back to something like 80 hours a week on average but I still check in with myself in case I need a break or to cut back for a while. I spend weeks reaching out to people, researching and writing content before I even begin to work on a video and sometimes those projects get scrapped before I can even push a record button due to those who I was working with backing out, or not coming through or due to discovering things along the way that would make the video a disservice if they were created without other supplemental videos first. (Sometimes I just have too much on my plate and I need to chew through it more slowly than I intended to so I don't choke on it)

Sometimes I get annoyed when I see videos with 100's of thousands of views that have half nude mods and or "super modded" graphics titles where I can tell you the amount of care that went into those videos was less than I spend writing the rough draft of a simple tutorial.... all that to say.... I couldn't continue to do what I do without you folks.

I still have to make decisions every month along the lines of, "Should I pay this bill or that bill? Can I buy the healthy food or do I need to mix the garbage in? Maybe next year I can go somewhere for a week (weekend?) and or do some PC upgrades because I need to make sure we can afford to take care of our dogs... or because we need to fix the water heater...

... and the reason that I dont turn to making "crap" content for fast/easy views is because of all of you folks. The reason I can keep attempting to build something worth while and give back to the community instead of abuse it like so many others do is because of you Patrons and others out there donating by other means. It means the world to me. Thank you.
