DS-6 Conversing Kenku - GM Supplement Release!
Added 2021-07-23 23:00:03 +0000 UTCI don't know about you, but I think Kenku are great low-level baddies. You can simply flavor humanoids like Bandits to be Kenku, or you can use the MM stat block as a replacement for goblins. What's more, their mimicry can make for a fun time at the table, especially with a group of new players that have never met the creatures before!
When running Kenku though, sometimes the mimicry can trip up a GM! What to say?
I've come up with a list of some one-liners for you to fall back on. Things that a Kenku bandit or mercenary might have heard in the streets of a city, or running a job. I've also provided some suggestions on how to flavor the voice to give players a glimpse into the moment the phrase was first spoken.
