News & Updates 2/26/23

Soon, I'm going to make Skyset Knights it's own free independent page-by-page style webcomic site (i.e. not Men Plus Monsters' main site). The comic will be free and you will be able to read it all much more easily there. I hope it will fix issues people are having / have had with the Archive site.

Features planned for Skyset Knights' home site:

What do you think? Exciting right? :)
This will likely happen by the end of March or April, as I need time to edit code for an old site I used before.

This Patreon will be for seeing new pages early, and as I can get a certain amount of pages done per day, I will set an estimated schedule and let you know from there how many pages in the future they will be.

I'm also combining most of my comics into Skyset Knights - including all of Men+Monsters :) It will be available to read for free.

I am also probably discontinuing the printing of individual books, like By My Hand and the Men+Monsters Volumes, because of the cost. I will print new books on new Kickstarters so look out for those. I want everyone to be able to read all the comics and understand everything, so it's all going into Skyset Knights :)

I hope you continue to pledge for the creation of the comics, and I hope this gives people a readable site and lets them enjoy the comics while helping me fund development time for all-new Skyset Knights comics with all my characters.

I am disabled and my art is how I make a living. I'm having a difficult time now and I thought a drastic change would help, if it fulfills everyone's expectations for how their webcomic experience should be (including mine).

Thanks for reading, and thoughts appreciated (are you happy with this change? etc)

PS: By the way, I have tarot readings for sale up on my Etsy if you wanted to interact with any of my decks but don't want to get a deck or learn tarot yourself :) Confidential, must be an 18+ adult, etc.

Great to hear a free updated site is in the works! I've been following your work since it was on Smackjeeves (lol), so I've seen you move format many times. As much as I have loved consistently supporting your work through prints or the paid site, it has been hard to share it with others online given the pay wall. I think a self-hosted free site that shows off your work and promotes your future projects is a great idea that combines the freedom of self-hosting with the acceptability of a free site. Good luck with building the site and I will check it out whenever it is avaliable.
