[Patron Bonus Content] What goes into the making of a Skyset Knights page

As I am working on Dog Training page 1, I'm restarting my computer so Photoshop can run better lol - and I'd like to take this opportunity to show you guys a little bit of what goes into making a Skyset Knights page!

SCRIPT

For this page, a few passes of script were written. This short story is 8 pages, and I wanted something with BDSM, petplay, and some humorous elements to contrast with the intense stimulation and edging. This page is as follows, you might remember how many months ago this was written in advance of seeing it today:

Not all of my scripts are like this, but they're generally detailed so that I can remember when I get to drawing them for web and print :)

THE INITIAL DRAWING
Is very sloppy! But it serves a purpose. Why don't they have bodies? Where is Jet's face? Read on.

INITIAL ELEMENTS

If there is a specific facial expression that needs to come across, I will usually draw it in first - same with a pose, and usually one takes precedence over the other, which is why Jet is faceless in some places and Verus is bodiless in others.
The text is also floating around at this point, to be fixed next. I use evenly-shaped panels so that one can focus on the action within the panels.

REVISION: SPEECH BUBBLES
An important step, otherwise the reader won't follow the story in order. Look at the difference:

CONSIDERATIONS: COSTUME DESIGN

While most erotica artists' motto is 'less is more', anyone into fetish clothing can tell you that a lot of times more is even more! 

Depending on what needs to be shown or emphasized, I will choose a costume from the characters 'wardrobe' to fit the scene.

In this one, Verus' hands, feet, and cock are central to the 'plot' and need to easily be shown, so I chose this outfit. I also consider how he will look when his clothing is moved aside, what he will look like halfway stripped, and how his expressions will come across while wearing it (certain looks emphasize our emotional resonance with the character - this scene would be very different if Verus were wearing a cute, fuzzy cat hoodie rather than the horns, lol.):

Jet, on the other hand, needs to be on all fours and needs to have his nipples, mouth, cock and ass fully exposed, and there needs to be emphasis on his bell collar, so I chose the last one. I modified the thigh high one on the right to have a thigh harness (he needed to have a tail for the petplay element). As a surprise bonus, it matches his collar, so the BDSM element is also further emphasized:

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

This took me a while to get down in drawing and writing, and making a comic is a labor of love :) Some last-minute additions (or even subtractions!) may happen if I think of something particularly interesting or juicy, so it's not super imperative to stick to the script.

When it comes to kinks and pairings, I don't have a quota, checklist, or other things that paysites have had me run though (LOL). I generally like to show things that will interest my readers and I, and if I want to challenge myself, I'll see if I can make a kink (morally, legally, and ethically OK kinks only) that I wasn't personally into, sexy to me.

Case in point: Verus himself! I wasn't into magic, his style of domination, or even bare feet in their costumes of any kind - until I made him and made it sexy to me, and completely consenting. As with the subject of sex and kink as a whole, I am very particular in what I personally enjoy in stories, and how it is depicted.
