I edited a bunch of text from the Ace of Beasts segments in Skyset Knights 1 to better fit the tone of the book (i.e. more lighthearted).

I was thinking about the dialogue in AoB #1 and #2, and Knight of Alanoc as a whole. Sometimes I think it's too sad, but then I also think about some other media people enjoy and comparatively see it as not as sad. Writing and drawing Knight of Alanoc was a great catharsis at the time, as it heavily had to do with my experiences with certain relationships with people in the ya*i community as well as some irl stuff. But, it is over, and there are new things I want to talk about, and fun things I want to explore with Xerxes and Osric too :)

That said, Skyset Knights is mostly fun lighthearted adventure and erotica, and while some kinda sad backstory stuff might happen, it's very very sparse and mostly on the topic of 'not belonging' as that's a recurring undercurrent of my life that I feel matches the themes of the characters in the story. Write what you know and all that.

And so, instead of making AoB's opening (the 40+ revised pages included in Skyset Knights) a substitute for Knight of Alanoc, I'm separating the experience a bit, and letting Osric and Xerxes have their little adventure before giving them brand new ones :)
