[Patron Bonus Content] Skyset Knights: Cindercrest designs

The elder dragon mage and the Bearer of the Curse he adopted to be the heir to his vast magickal legacy; Xamris Cindercrest the dragon and his apprentice / adopted son, Verus Cincercrest. These are designs for the short story in Skyset Knights about Verus' past and how he came to make his own guild.

Verus was left in the Zeland woods (the same place where Arka was born) as a hatchling, abandoned by his mage father who passed on a cursed marking and the knowledge of all forbidden magicks to him. Luckily Verus doesn't care so much about being ostracized by using forbidden magic and Xamris encouraged him to use all at his disposal to get what he wanted - for mages were treated cruelly sometimes, half-bloods especially so, so why show mercy to an unforgiving populace? Verus did know kindness at some point when he was little when he met Koruma (a treasured memory that would come back into the plot later), but that is another short story ;)

While not as monstrous-looking in his youth as Arka, he got used to not finding shoes for his talons and just sort of accepted it as a visual that yes, he was half monster, and that he wasn't going to hide it.
