Long ago, I had written a fanfic called 'Speechless'. Set in the Final Fantasy XV Comrades universe, it was a slow burn romance about Xerxes, a mute amnesiac recent recruit of the Kingsglaive, and Marshal Cor Leonis, the makeshift leader of the Kingsglaive (forgive me if I got some names and terms wrong, it's been years). Both of them have a polarizing presence, one for being unable to communicate the same way everyone else can, the other for making decisions that some vehemently disagree with in Lestallum.

Anyway. I had finished the first chapter but was discouraged by the fandom (they really hated my ace Cor lol), and thinking on it I decided to use my efforts for original content building on what I had drawn and written and distancing myself from a fandom that didn't like my presence anyway lol. One of my scenes from Speechless and its dialogue made its way into my comic Ace of Beasts here. You'll see it in Ace of Beasts #4, and of course I changed a few things:

That said, I did really like the sketch of the scene at the top of this page, and although I didn't get to any sex scenes, it would have played out wordlessly.

My Cor headcanons were the small ideas that sparked Ravi, Jet, and Cirocco; the joke ones went to Koruma. Recycling is sometimes the best way to go when something has hurt you lol. And that's why I'm probably going to ink my own old picture with Jet in Cor's place, lmao.
