Bonus: Xerxes expressions
Added 2020-07-29 22:07:36 +0000 UTCin trying to get back into sketching after about a month of just writing for the tarot card guidebook, I drew a pretty good update of Xerxes' expression sheet! I'd love to include things like this in the lore books because they say a lot about each of the characters.
One day I'd love to animate something with them. I have animated before, it's just having time to do it lol.
About Xerxes' expressions: Xerxes is a gentle mute swordsman whose quietness is just the surface of a bright and cheerful personality. He is a kind, curious man, and unsure of himself because he is a considerate guy, even though he is also brave. He hardly ever gets angry, but like they say, beware the wrath of a kind man (his threat to the sorcerer is a rare glimpse of this side of him, and there are only I think two instances where he fistfights deserving characters in-story). When he is in sexy situations, he seems relaxed or unphased, as though it's more of a fun lighthearted thing to do, due to his Sect upbringing and personal sexual attitude.
I'll be doing these expression sheets for the other main characters too as I go along (and they'd be really different because of their personalities!) - who would you like to see next?
