Debuting in SWORD KINGS is Asher, a blind mage who uses both darkness and healing magicks. He can distinguish between shadows and light, so his eyesight isn't complete darkness like a lot of interpretations in fiction. The darkness specialty is to help him create magical ambience that helps shield his eyes, which are sensitive to light.

His lover is Arka the swordsman, who travels and brings him back crystals and ideas for techniques he can use in his arcane arts. He describes the world to him since Asher doesn't travel much - in fact, that's how they fell in love {:^> They're both asexual and very much in love.

Asher runs a spa with hot springs that the Sword Kings guys visit sometimes. While Heru specializes in physical healing, Asher is more of a healer who works on other issues. His home is the spa but he sleeps upstairs - it is a big yet cozy house situated on the side of a mountain with a small waterfall, trees, and hot springs. His room is upstairs - he's a very tactile person who loves soft stuff, so he has a lot of nice-to-the-touch clothes and blankets.
