Reversed comes a message of delay and the need for planning before doing, because there is something more that needs to be considered before something important to you can be done.

Representing the Ace of Wands is the Monster Knight, a kind of creature who is revealed to be a servant of the god Strato and his High Priests. Tasked with retrieving ideal recruits to their gladiator cult, in ACE OF BEASTS Volume 2 they are sent to retrieve Osric, but end up finding the Sect's precious exile Xerxes whom Strato treasured as his candidate for his new mortal form.

The Monster Knights' qualities reflected in this card include their diligence to their duty and their potential for doing more than what was initially thought of them, but also the lack of focus and delays (since it was so long since they finally found Xerxes for them).
