A card as misunderstood and feared as monster people, but one signaling the end of one event or time in the querant's life at the moment along with new beginnings. Though often a result of a sudden change, there can be a sense of relief in this period of closure, with new seeds of something better and happier on the horizon.

I associate Silas with the white flowers and trees of his homeland, Den, the island of monsters, so the white rose motif was fitting for him. The feared reputation of this card also fit with how humans perceive him in-story. Lex will always see a shadow of his former lover in him, but meeting Silas was also a new happy beginning for him as well.
