The swords are all about clarity, decisions, and mental fortitude. Each suit sort of has a storyline, where certain symbols are used over and over with different contexts. The 'blindness' in the two of swords, shown by Osric closing his eyes but leaning toward the 'right' (and literal right) answer, which acts as a call to carefully decide between two choices, becomes a detriment later in the eight of swords where the figure is paralyzed with fear even though the solution may be nearby.
The sword is decisiveness and truth, and the Ace (seen on my previous sketches with Ravi), shows you exactly what needs to be done, but the truth can also hurt and cause heartbreak, as with poor Lex on the Three of Swords.

glad u think so! it's been interesting drawing the 'stories' of the suits mostly because they have no 'right' answer - even negative cards can be positive, just depends on what you read into them!
