Owlchemist design for SWORD KINGS

here he is .... big hoot hours ....

Mr. Owlchemist meets the Sword Kings in issue #2 (or 3, I am still writing them!) and becomes their potion-making healer ally. He is also capable of making explosives and poisons, more befitting of his sullen personality.

He is the spiritual character evolution of Mordecai from my first comic, just as Rex was created in the original spirit of the silly character I was in the games I played years ago (Xerxes). They have pretty much the same relationship as well, and meet in almost the same way, with a few differences lol.

In SWORD KINGS, a few bandits try to shake down Owlchemist for high-level restoratives when Rex intervenes (bravely or stupidly, for the audience to decide, but either way a kind gesture from a stranger). Owlchemist is touched when after the scuffle Rex and friends offer to help him pay for and clean up his stall. He follows them home and tries to act cool when Rex finds him hanging out in their yard, and they come to an agreement where he makes potions and incendiary vials and gets to sleep in the attic, as he prefers.
(I don't have a good name for him yet but I am very tempted to take a 'regular' name and add owl to it lmao. If not that, then I'm thinking Leofric or Leo, just to mess with expectations lol)

The Sword Kings guild is pretty much becoming Foster's Home for Lonely Swordsmen (And Swordsmen Accessories) lmao
