SnapBack VST Drum Layering π₯

I thought it would be fun to give SnapBack VST a go and record my first session messing with the plugin. https://www.cableguys.com/snapback
I've spent many hours layering drums in the past and it's definitly a bit of a mad science. π₯Ό It's just one of those processes that takes a lot of trial and error and dosen't always give you what your after.
Snapback makes this process a lot more streamlined and helps you to focus on the most important aspects of drum layering.
As I mention in the video, sample selection is by far the most important. Then phase alignment, tuning and amp envelope are what you need to focus on next. Finally any extra processing or fine tuning to the individual layers.
What I will say is when it's going right, it usually happens pretty quickly and if your spending anymore than 5 mins on an individual hit, it might be time to try something different!

These hits are perfect for Snapback but can of course be used anywhere :)
