Added 2024-12-05 15:49:55 +0000 UTCThis video idea & the Renoise/Digitakt mk2 template had so much potential that I just had to get the project out. The crashes and problems with overbridge nearly proved too much for me and then by some miracle it worked flawlessly on my final attempt. 🙏
The Digitakt Mk2, despite it's faults in a lack of manual slicing and ping-pong loops is truely incredible for sound designing and manipulating samples. It's super creative with 3 LFO's , chorus, overdrive, bitcrush, sample rate reduction & amazing filters etc.
It's workflow proves just how far you can go with samples and monophonic sequencing. Having a way to resample sounds easily by using rolling sampler https://www.birdsthings.com/ also made the process a lot smoother.
I'm very happy to be through this video and onto the next thing which will be a Patreon video early next week. 🤜
