Lemon D & Dillinja Style (Heavy Bass Samples)

I've been (not so) quietly working away at a Lemon D/ Dillinja Style project for my next YouTube vid!

I'm trying to get it as polished as possible before doing the tutorial as I think its important to get this one right. I'm close with a lot of the sound design on the bass & drums so with a few more elements this tune will really start to come together over the next few days.

I've been doing a lot of the sound design in my EMU for this video. Using the Gain + Clipping trick, Aural Exciter, Tones of filtering and modulation with harsh resonances.

I will show all in the future vid but what I do have is a lovely collection of bass tones I've resampled over the weekend. 🔊🔥

The trick with the basses is to actually high pass or filter the sampled bass with some resonance & then use a sub bass layer on a different track playing the same notes.

This layering technique is most obvious in Dillinja's track Nasty Ways where you can hear him bring the mid/high bass first and then the sub in the intro section -https://youtu.be/qCS1A-VXoes?t=60
