Wow so we're nearly there now with about 150 more to go! I firstly wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who's joined me on this journey so far & continues to supports me here. ❤️

This all started in lockdown 3 1/2 years ago, when I forced myself onto YouTube with the original intention just to make a few of Audio Finder videos to help people out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PfCrLzjbeo Even listening to the first 5 seconds of this video sends a shiver down my spine but everyone has to start somewhere! 😂

What I can also confess to, is that my music was at rock bottom when I started this journey. I'd already spent 5 years producing & had got into so many bad habits. I couldn't finish a tune to save my life & was really struggling with the idea that maybe I just didn't have the talent or creativity to actually make decent music.

I went back to the drawing board & through my channel studied all these amazing artists like Photek, Paradox, Source Direct, LTJ Bukem. What I learnt on the hunt for the holy grail of secret DnB techniques, is that there wasn't some special ninja level break chopping technique to change it all or some magical bit of hardware that would give me that sound. (Sorry Akai & Emu, I still love you) 🥷

Instead there were just tools, techniques & workflows I could learn and add to my arsenal but it was really going to be about battling through the things I was finding most difficult in music. For me it was finishing tracks.

I distinctly remeber reading how Photek would work on his tracks for weeks or even months at a time. He would often do 18 hour days on the go until his tracks were finished. Whilst we don't all have time for that & the equipment was much slower and more limited in those days, you get the point.

It's all about grinding through the tracks and consistently putting the time in. Beyond anything else these things have helped me the most in progressing with my music.

I'm truely so excited to hit this first significant milestone and intend to take the music, channel & Patreon as far as I possibly can. 🚀
