Here, the monster knights from earlier report to the high priests of Strato, who then inform their god about their exile having been spotted. The monster knights were after Osric, as his values coincide with the Sect and they recruit people that way sometimes, but finding Xerxes was a bonus.
The priests are: Zenoc, the jackal-headed one, tall and robed in shadows; Atenek, closest to Strato, strong and stern; and Onomet, lion-faced and intimidating, with the iron will of a general. Vaguely named with arcane and ancient Egyptian sounds but not meaning anything.
