After remembering being Highly Discouraged from cooking in the Sect by both the other kids his age and the priests of Strato (the tenets being echoed in his head), Xerxes filters it down to ask Osric 'were you ever bullied as a kid?' Osric remembers a much less severe incident of Xander (his twin brother) bonking him with a toy sword and is like 'lol yeah'
