As I write this there are protests going on around Melbourne about the never ending lockdowns. There was also a small earthquake - only minor damage at the epicentre. By the time it got to us it shook the house, rattled the doors and provided some excitement in the day. The storm damage has only just been repaired so we were grateful that it was not big enough to cause any problems.
We had news that year 12's will finally get to go back to school next term, which is wonderful as it will allow them a couple of weeks of school before their final exams. My youngest will still be at home for a while yet, they are talking about letting them back for a couple of days a week at the end of October.
