Found you yesterday due to your debunking videos, and am so encouraged by your kindness, intelligence, and fun you have in your videos, especially with your husband. Keep us the great workβ€”it’s awesome and so necessary! Respectfully FYI: vital wheat gluten here in the states is pronounced β€œSAY-tahn,” or even β€œSAY-tann,” which even celiacs might feel is a regrettable reference...but maybe not.

This video is super informative, I love how in depth it goes. Especially how you go into how people who prepare food perceiving gluten intolerance as some fad diet. Like if they don't take no gluten cross contamination seriously and someone with celiac disease eats it it can cause serious harm.

Gluten free is definitely seen as a money maker, very expensive. I't much cheaper to make your own. There are some gluten free baking tips of the website - blog post will be out tonight.

Thanks Roberta, I'm glad you liked it, there are some baking tips on the blogpost that may be helpful too - that will be up tonight.

This is such an important message! We have a family member who has been coeliac from birth and, as you say, one crumb of gluten in his food can be really difficult for him. Much of his childhood was spent in hospital due to his coeliac condition and asthma which might also be linked. While it has been good to see better availability of gluten free products in some limited instances it is so sad to find that many are really expensive and highly processed options hard sold at people looking for an answer to weight and health problems that can be bought in a packet in the supermarket. This and the sudden rise of β€œveganism” appear to be the result of marketing campaigns attempting to lure us away from a diet based on unprocessed foods.

Good stuff. The rest of my family are coeliac but not me so it got me interested in diet. I’ve been on the keto diet now for a couple of years so I do a lot of my own baking and I discovered your channel via your chocolate tempering video. Any chance of some keto baking?

I’m coeliac!! Thank you so much for making this video it was a very very good explanation of the difference between eating gluten free because is trendy and eating gluten free because you have to. I wish more people would take time to understand the difference.
