Guardian - page 1
Added 2016-08-23 19:58:45 +0000 UTCBackground: I got the okay to redistribute my comic ahead of schedule because of the grievous errors in the printing of my work, and so, here it is for my lovely patrons to enjoy: Guardian, from an anthology I will not name, due to the great disappointment I have experienced working with them.
Additionally, I will now be able to print the comic myself with no errors from third parties - it will also be in full color, as you see here, and as the comic was originally intended to be. (In January, I'm putting together and hopefully printing a compilation of my holiday comics, extra comics, and my anthology works, plus more.)
The issue: All of my pages were printed so dark, Silas's cock and body were rendered as all-black shapeless voids. My pages might as well have been black blank pages, and needless to say I was shocked that this could have happened, as I sent them legible pages where you could very clearly see what was going on. No one contacted me on the matter before I got the printed copy and confirmed the bad print job - they claimed it was the printer's fault of botching the final version of the book. If so, why not a refund? My printing of M+M Vol.1 was printed dark (although not nearly as bad as this anthology's print job...), and with some proof / communication I was allowed a reprint to compensate for those losses. I went through a few proofs of AoB #1 due to the printing files being rendered as semi-blank pages, but the final products are fine because I paid attention to the entire book both times. Anyway, there were a few other things that were off, but the print job and treatment of my work were the big ones. Overall quite a few aspects of this project came off as seedy, and it was a very negative experience.
I was finally issued an apology today from the organizers on the matter, and with that bad experience behind me, I do not intend to be in any more anthologies in the future.
About the story: Just a 4-page intro to who Lex and Silas are, for people who may not know my works - maybe a conversation they had just before Chapter 2 and their residence in Monster Town.
