I chose green as the main color for robot town, like a motherboard, and white for the 'overly sanitized' theme. The themes of this chapter revolve around nature, choice and lifestyle choice.
Green as you know is my least favorite color (it looks like beige in my mind for some reason) + least favorite to work with, so I had a lot to learn from this chapter so far, haha. Interesting Fact: There was a panel with a lot of bluish green wavy lines in AoB #1 which made me nauseous so I had to repaint it.
Story notes: Lex seems to be genuinely moved by Silas' words, meaning he is still adorably starry-eyed at his declarations of love no matter how small, lol. Maybe monsters don't coo their romantic inclinations with the same frequency humans do, and for Silas to say something is extra cute to Lex haha.
People often use robots as a mirror for what we take for granted (As seen in many famous stories - humanity, individuality, even basic things like pleasure, etc. It's nothing groundbreaking as a concept, but an interesting metaphor nonetheless), and Aux in relation to that theme has significance as a sex bot who is hinted to be 'just doing his job' (fulfilling his Purpose, in their terms). There were posters in the background where he was introduced that said there was a limit on how many plants could be on a robot property (lol) hinting that this city is a bit problematic for people like Lex and Friends to be literally dicking about lol. It is lighthearted and fun, but a lot of thought was put into why each story matters. There's not going to be some big speech on individuality and such at the end but it's just An Interesting Aside to this arc ;>
