Lizard guy with stick up his butt is Nelek, the monster hunter, and dark mirror of Lex. This is the kind of guy Lex would have become if he had no moral compass when he dealt with monsters.
This scene is supposed to highlight a few things about this universe that aren't so positive, but the tension doesn't last too long, haha.
Actually, this whole scene with Nelek and Ink is a reflection of what could go wrong in Lex and Silas' relationship, sort of a glimpse into a 'dark future'.
The ending of this chapter is coming soon, and well worth it, I assure you! The 'Royal Guard' arc with the Queen and Lex's crime will be resolved... BUT HOW?? ohoho
also this page is sort of a deconstruction on a few very specific yaoi tropes haha
