I just got back from an INCREDIBLE trip celebrating my brother and future sister-in-law. We went wedding dress shopping, toured their venue, and ate as much toasted ravioli as we could stomach. (And also celebrated my birthday with Costco tuxedo cake! My favorite.)
The past two months have been a little...all over the place, if I'm being honest. Physically, because I've been traveling so much, and emotionally. I wanted to give y'all a quick update that turned into about 25 minutes of rambling bahaha.
That said, I do think exciting things are coming up! Just not the things I initially expected for the year.
I leave tomorrow for Comic-Con and I'll be gone for a week, but after that, the travel will slow and hopefully I'll have some definitive answers for what's in store for the next half of the year. :)

2025-07-30 23:19:59 +0000 UTCThe last year and a half has been a roller coaster I would love to get off, especially the last few months where I have been going, going, going non-stop! But! I'm actually getting back to my writing and have decided to completely rewrite my queer Little Mermaid retelling during a summer challenge my writing group is doing. It's slow going and I'm probably not going to meet my goal, but I am so much happier with it this time around than I was during my first go. I think once summer is over, things will be slowing down and hopefully I'll have more time for writing (and maybe even catch a livestream or two! I've missed those the most). I hope you had a blast at comicon!!!
