April Goals | CONTESTS, CAMP NANO, & COMPLETING PROJECTS | patron-only video

Even though it's Zelda in the thumbnail for today's video, it's actually Vin's birthday today! Little Vin T. Kitten is now a whole year old! (We actually got her in May, so really this just calls for a double celebration.)
But I figured I should pay the Cat Tax as she's literally on my lap as I write this.
Don't mind her, just being a Needy Beech.
Anyhow! Here are my goals for this month. :) It's a meandering video as I set up my planner, so just FYI. Main overviews is finishing up the Hallmark project and immediately wanting to find more contests to submit to, Camp NaNoWriMo (obviously), and fiiiiiiiinally finishing up the romance novel I started in February!
Few questions for ya:
1) What's the best April fool's joke/prank you saw this year? (Also let me know if you hate this "holiday" bahaha.)
2) What are you goals for April? Writing or otherwise!
3) What's your experience been with writing (or other creative) contests or competitions? Do you have any you'd recommend or any you're hoping to apply to/participate in??

1. I run a gaming Discord for FFXIV w/ friends. They changed everything in the server to the "bad guys", I'm talking names, logo, bots, everything. It was brilliant. 2. Continue my NaNo project Fae, in the hopes to write at least 25k and make some progress with it. 3. Entered competitions in past never got far. Taking part in NaNo related and Deadlines for Writers, more for me than the "competition", just to push myself.
