The Great Gatsby is probably my all time favorite book. The first time I picked it up, I read 90% in one sitting. It's a huge staple of American literature. I have no idea if you're a reader or not (or if you would even have time), but if so I highly recommend it. Thanks for the reaction. This film obviously doesn't capture the book in it's essence (I don't believe that's possible) but I do think this film is as close as it gets. Well done and great performances on everyone's part.
