I love this movie so much and I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was ahead of it's time in so many ways. Unfortunately, the problem with remaking it so many times is each generation only remembers the version that came out during their time and the others just kind of get lost to time. So people today mainly only know of the recent version with Lady Gaga. I liked that one fine and I'll consider requesting it if you're that interested, but none of them top this one for me. I personally wasn't impressed by the second and third, but feel free to watch them on your own. The fourth one I might request soon.
