Very underrated film. This is how to properly retell a fairytale. I saw this film like three times in the theaters. It was the first like dark fantasy film I ever saw. Hate Twilight and Kristin Stewart's character in that series, but she actually does hold her own in this film. She was a bit bland at times but I did get the essence of her character. I'm just gonna say it, this is my favorite Chris Hemsworth performance. He's an amazing Thor but that scene of him getting emotional over Snow's body was the most powerful acting I've ever seen from him, even moreso than any of the Marvel films. Eric (the huntsman) is definitely my favorite character. As a couple, I prefer Snow White and William, but her and Eric do have a special bond that was the emotional center and development of this film. Yes, this was the extended version. Thank you!
