To me, at this point Linus is more amusing than inflammatory. His instincts are generally right, and his over-the-top reactions should get properly toned down by the auto-Linus-translation circuits that should be installed in developers' inboxes.

Also the demand on portable gaming devices has grow and linux giving and boosting that opportunity. I'm talking longer and longer run not near future. Nvidia is the leader when it comes to AI ships and tech. But until when? There's a few of hungry competitors out there (amd, apple, soon google and Chinese tech leaders... ). And correct me if Im wrong.

2024-12-06 13:46:29 +0000 UTCNvidia have a far vision, it's not playing only to get Thier ships on SteamDeck, but they will have their own portable gaming hardwares + the OS soon or later, that's why they care this much about Linux. NvidiaDeck Running NviOS or what ever. This is what I see. Correct me if Im wrong.
