I was waiting for your reaction to this episode. Oliver is so great in Smallville. I enjoy both this one and the one in the Arrowverse and you’re going to like the relationship between Ollie and Clark.

You've done a pretty great job at avoiding spoilers and when I see your reaction to the show, it makes me happy that you are good at it. Also if you ever get the chance, you should re-watch the first minute of the Pilot of Smallville... the first thing we see is Lionel Luthor on a helicopter reading a newspaper and Queen Industries is the headline of the paper.

Well I guess there's technically two but one of them we HAVE seen before, they just dont put focus on it for a few more seasons.

2021-01-23 16:24:18 +0000 UTCI absolutely agree. I love Justin Hartley's Green Arrow in Smallville, whereas I couldn't watch more than two episodes of the show... Arrow back when it first came out. I hate how much darker and more intense his character in Arrow is. Smallville's version of this character is absolutely better.

Lionel will somewhat fill Jonathan's role (kind of), Lex will fill Lionel's old role, and Oliver will fill Lex's old role. This Oliver is more faithful to Green Arrow from the comics. The Arrow version is more a play on Batman. I can't wait to see your reactions to him going forward. He's in my top 5 favorite SV characters.
