Within Eyesight (2023)

He wasn't sure how he's survived this long. Trapped on the floor of their shared home, Alec's attempts at getting his roommate Tom's attention failed each time. 

Waving his arms yielded no results. Screaming his name left fell on deaf ears. This was the third day since his shrinking, and Alec was forced to watch Tom unwind after getting home from work once again.

As Tom walked in, unaware of his tiny roommate, the house seemingly empty to his eyes. Happy to be home, he kicked off his boots and made his way to his room. Wondering what to make for dinner, he undressed and changed into more casual attire. Removing his socks, he appreciated the fresh air provided. 

Exiting his room, the house was eerily silent. He did begin to wonder where Alec ended up. Putting a record on, he sat on the couch and began resting. 

Alec, however, was in a different predicament. Seizing the opportunity once again to gain help, tiny Alec followed Tom to his room. His tiny steps warranted little distance, but he trekked on. 

The door swung open once more, as the giant stepped out. 

"Tom!" Alec cried out. "Tom! I'm down here! Please! It's been days! Tom, no-!"

Alec was unable to finish his sentence as Tom's large foot stomped on his body without care. Alec's face was pushed violently into a spongy, slick, wet, and rank surface as the giant took a step, placing all his weight down upon the poor tiny man. The skin surrounding Alec enveloped his tiny body, a wet secretion covering his entire being. Light began pouring in as the giant's foot continued its step. Alec gasped in the newly fresh air as the foot lifted into the air. The skin adhered him to the foot and he went with his roommate as he travelled through the house. 

The nightmare of the situation became much worse as the world erupted in loud sounds, likely the music Tom listened to as he got home. This would make his efforts harder, but that was the last of his worries. 

The steps finally subsided as the giant rested on the couch. Alec was whipped through the air as Tom lifted his foot to rest on his knee. Looking at his surroundings, Alec noted he was the only thing adhered to the foot, strangely enough. That means his body would stand out. Looking up and beyond the foot, Alec could see Tom's elbow in the air. A little further and he could see a patch of hair just behind the foot. 

"T-Tom!" Alec gasped out, finding the air to speak again. "Tom! Look! I'm on your foot, please see me!" 

Alec was unaware that Tom's eyes were closed as he relaxed after a long day at work.
