Yea the circumstances with Superman kinda put them in a corner. Obviously with like how Myriad is supposed to affect the entire world you’d expect Superman to come help Supergirl but since they can’t use him they needed a reason to explain why he wasn’t there and so this was the best excuse they could come up with but honestly Myriad shouldn’t affect him either
