It isn't a thing, it's made up in some feminists head who heard a guy say "ewh" once when he came across a used tampon. I've never period shamed anyone and I don't know anyone who has, ever, and I've met thousands of people.

I didnt know period shaming was a thing until this video.. im really supportive of girls on their period. I always buy my coworker/best friend her favourite chocolate when she has her period and ill give her massages at work to relieve her of some pain. Id never shame someone for having their period..

Buzzfeed brings feminism everywhere they go. Literally if it isn't odd life/food hacks with no words, there will be feminism. Whenever there is a video with people speaking, some generalized yet uneducated "feminist" opinion is spoken as a fact.
