You are definitely not the only one to think Iida’s brother was dead. Just about all reactors I’ve seen thought the same thing, but it is framed really ambiguously, so I don’t think anyone can blame you for thinking that. Todoroki’s mom is in a mental hospital, not like a regular hospital. Makes much more sense why she’s been there for years when you realize that, but again, Endeavor saying he ‘put her in a hospital’ is pretty ambiguous. Makes it sounds like he beat her up and sent her to a hospital as opposed to putting an unstable person into a care facility. Not saying it was a good thing either way, but clarification is good to have when stuff isn’t super clear. Can’t wait for the next arc. As always, more cool stuff on the way!
