Just a reminder, I've started substitute teaching to fill in some financial gaps thanks to cancelled cons, tariffs, and generally hostile economy we're in right now, so I appreciate everyone who is continuing their subscription to my Patreon. Obviously I am keeping it super cheap still, but I still appreciate it.
Because of the teaching work, I am not working every day so pages with a super detailed background might take a lot longer to get to. I had originally planned to be on Chapter 7 by now, so... yeah, definitely behind.
I'm also getting Kickstarter rewards out! Sent a big batch of books off Monday with another batch going out tomorrow. Juggling a lot right now, but still working on new pages when I can!

The original black and white page. Man, this took way less time to do! I think this chapter is the chapter where I am going "Okay, working digitally in color can take a little longer than in black and white did." I should have kept the white background for the cheese section.

The lineart! Oof, so much work...
Silhouettes!
Flat colors! I made a mistake on the previous page by making so much of the store have black accents. My main characters don't pop against it. I worked around it because I didn't want to go back and redo previously finished work.
Shading!
Gradation and highlights!
Textures, patterns, line effects, all that jazz. Added some signage and big blocks of white at a low opacity to brighten up some of the panel backgrounds.

Text and sound effects, etc. All done!
