Added 2025-01-29 20:00:03 +0000 UTCHey guys, here's this month's cover! As I said at the start of the month, I was going to cover a 50s song, and you guys voted for this one! I'm very happy you did, this was fun to make and I'm really pleased with the result :-)
I actually recorded it all (minus vocals) once, but I realised that it just wasn't hitting the right kind of vibe and it was a bit too bouncy if you get what I mean. So literally last night (I'm writing this on Jan 22nd) I went back to the drawing board and re-recorded the entire thing in 2 hours, which is what you're hearing now!
This version is much better, and I loooove the dreamy vibe of it. Very mac demarco!
BUT YEAH enjoy this one guys, i'll be back sometime soon to ask you guys to vote on next month's cover. Since it's February next month, and that's when valentine's day is, the theme is going to be love songs (which means basically half of all songs ever?)
