THE CRAZIES Patreon Watch Along Anarchy reigns when an unknown toxin turns the peaceful citizens of Ogden Marsh into bloodthirsty lunatics. In an effort to contain the spread of the infection, authorities blockade the town and use deadly force to keep anyone from getting in or out. Now trapped among killers, Sheriff Dutten (Timothy Olyphant) and his wife (Radha Mitchell) and two companions must band together to find a way out before madness and death overtake them.

Glad you liked it. I've always enjoyed revisiting it. It has a lot of the zombie/virus film tropes I love, but it handles it all in a clever way. I feel the actors really elevate the material. I loved the deputy too, he's the MVP for sure.

2023-03-22 01:31:11 +0000 UTCi haven't seen this movie since it first came out. actually really enjoyed the rewatch. it's a dark ending, but it holds up, for me. in the end, our final protagonists did everything they could to survive and ending up being the reason the military needs to also nuke a much larger city since they have to be absolutely positive the infection can't take hold in a population.
