Newsletter 📰 September 2025

Hello again dear patrons!! Here's an update on everything you can expect coming up with me and my art:

🥬This month:

• If you didn't notice the sketch, I pulled a last minute switcheroo on you guys, and I'm working on painting Tusky🥒 in his Halloween costume for this year!! Last week I put a poll out for the high-tier patrons to vote on what they wanted his costume to be, and "Devil" won by a landslide. 😈 So Demon Tusky is in the works and will be ready to show you guys either tomorrow or the day after (might need an extra day to get it polished). It'll be a nice way to celebrate the beginning of Orctober!

• I realized that I never sent out the links to the 1-, 2-, and 3-year membership anniversary special paintings this month!! Argh, my bad. I will make sure to include those members that I missed this month when I send out the links next month (in a few days).

🥬Next month:

• Since Tusky got bumped to the front of the queue this month, that means next month we're gonna get back to that Seamus🍀 painting. The main reason I moved Tusky up was so that I would have more time to properly figure out this Seamus scene - there are going to be a lot of moving parts (hmmm...!) and elements of the composition to balance, and I anticipate it being difficult to find a way to communicate everything I want to. I suspect this scene will deepen the storyline and create more layers of tension within the character dynamics.

• I've got a very fun piece of Seamus-related bonus content to share with you guys next month. It's a very fun, very hot, and very excellent piece of storywriting from someone we all know and love, and it features not only Seamus but another of your favorite characters too. Can't wait to share it!!

🥬November:

• I believe I might hit another "wild card" idea in November. I find doing those paintings every so often is very freeing and keeps this process really fresh for me, which I think leads to creating art that is the most exciting, fun, and high quality for you guys to enjoy. Don't worry, I'll never be abandoning my cast of characters that we all love, though!

• You guys suggested to me the idea of showing some of the guys in alternate universes - either Seamus/Eddie in a fantasy world, or Verrix/Sipher in the modern world - and I really love that idea a ton. That is equally likely to happen in November - we'll see what shakes out!!

That's it as far as art!! IRL this has been a busy month for me - I celebrated my birthday (43!), am gearing up for the launch of a huge project I've been working on for many years at my day job (coming late October!), and have been having a blast helping the husband brainstorm story ideas for his D&D campaign he's DM'ing (his first!). Just got to enjoy going on a long hike through the mountains of New Hampshire with a good friend over the weekend and the views were incredible - this time of year is so great here in New England. I hope you guys are enjoying the fall wherever you are, and that each of you have something fun or exciting going on in your lives.
