Hello everyone! This week, I've enhanced the visual novel experience by improving the background code and made sure to take notes of where to add in more renders of the MC’s eyes.
Now, during dialogue, you have options to save, load, skip, hide, or exit the game.
I also finished integrating the remaining quick-time-event buttons.
To view the whole scene, you can press Tab or use the 'hide' button to hide the text box.
To skip, you can press the “skip” button or holding the left control button. For a more efficient skip, I would recommend using your keyboard's control button as it stops skipping when you let go.
What I'll be working on_____________________________________________________________________________
This week, I will start working on the mini events in the village starting with the cleric. These events will change the more you view them and eventually will lead to a different ending of the game.(These mini events will have a straight forward ending, normally of the “bad ending” kind.) The side routes like Lauretta, Isse, and Ahiho who you spend time with and gain affection with will get a post game where you can enjoy various h scenes with them once the game has ended.
