Weekly Game Update: Content Progress 24/08/19

Progress for the week____________________________________________________________

Hello everyone! Over the past week, I have been working on implementing new side events into the game. I am proud of most of them, although there are a couple that will seem basic for now. These are just the initial stages of the side events, but I have plans to expand and improve them in the future.

Originally, I had six side events ready to go, but that proved to be too much for me to handle in this update. So, I will save the unfinished one for the next time I add more events. That way, I can give it the attention it deserves and properly add it to the game. With these new side events, I have also added 200 additional renders.

I have also make it easier to identify which characters have special events with the player, placing a heart balloon icon above their heads. Keep in mind that some of these events will not activate until you talk to the character first (for example, Isse in her shop or Lauretta in her inn).

Additionally, I have fixed the mirror in your room so you can easily see your current affection levels with other characters. Once it is available, stars will appear in front of the mirror to indicate its intractability.

What I'll be working on____________________________________________________________

This week, my focus will be on creating the rematch battle with the catgirl. It's hard to say how long it will take, but just as a reference, the first arena fight had about 100 renders. While some of these can be reused, I don't want to simply copy and paste the same fight for the rematches. So, I plan on adding more elements to keep them fresh or at least have some kind of variance(example: changing depending on if you’ve won or lost more against her.) Tomorrow, I'll post another poll to see what you would all like me to work on next. We've made good progress in the village so far, but I want to prioritize working on the aspects that you all enjoy the most.
