I like this scene cause, for me, it hits two different notes at once. For one, it's hot to observe Seamus in an auto-erotic moment, seeing him admiring himself a bit.
But at the same time, I think it's interesting to think about how Seamus might feel these days now that Eddie, whose affection he took very much for granted (and never acted on), has found a new bf in Kal and has "moved on." And maybe Seamus is feeling a burst of unexpected insecurity now that Eddie's not hanging off his every word quite the same way. And so maybe we're seeing him psyching himself up, fighting off that self-doubt.
