One Piece Reviews Update
Added 2023-09-06 13:24:40 +0000 UTCHey guys, hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to apologize for the long wait for the Dressrosa review. I’ve mostly shaken off my burnout and that isn’t much of a problem with this one, but the simple fact of the matter is that I’m condensing a ~100 chapter arc into one review video and there are a lot of difficulties that come with that, especially given that I divided Water 7/Enies Lobby into parts - knowing what to skim over, what to keep in, trying not to be too bloated, etc. The recording process has been slower as a result. I’ve recorded the review for AJPiece, the overall impressions/themes/general review and the first 25-30 chapters and am slowly editing that as I also decided how best to tackle the rest, but it’s definitely the biggest challenge I’ve had with these videos so it’s led to a delay. I promise that it’ll be a great review when it releases, but there have just been some headaches with how to approach it.
It’s unfortunate that this coincided with my burnout which delayed the Fishman Island one, but I suppose it happens. Thanks for the support and thanks for understanding, rest assured that work is being done on this one! And we have a much shorter arc in Zou after it, so the turnaround really shouldn’t be nearly as long for that one.
