2021-12-20 04:35:40 +0000 UTCSpeaking about Silco's opening monologue: how I interpreted it was that not only was it a literal account of what happened to him (his fight with Vander in the past), but it also serves as an analogy for how he himself justifies his actions given the undercity's current circumstance. He ascribes his actions of uprising against Piltover a sense of involuntariness/inevitability, just as the body will resist the act of not breathing when drowning, regardless of intent. The instinctual act of self-preservation in the literal (drowning) and figurative (fighting the status quo) sense. Props to the show for giving us an excellent way of conveying Silco's motivation thus far. Also, top tier reaction and analysis my friend. By far the best I've seen regarding this show. Keep on keeping on!
