A deliberately simple video, mainly because I've been losing a lot of sleep recently. Largely due to my brother Ralfy not understanding my nocturnal lifestyle. (A lot of technical peopl...

Yes - another shameless clickbait thumbnail. Because they do actually have the desired effect.

OOPS! It turns out that if you add an unlisted video to a playlist it becomes visible immediately in that list. I've taken it back out for the proper Patreon advance preview.

Here's the link to Saturday's stream. (If YouTube is stable again by then.)
I'll try uploading today's video later, as it was struggling to upload earlier.
The unique feature of this one is that it has a green LED power indicator. That might sound a bit of an anticlimax, but back when this unit was made about 40 years ago, a common 5mm green LED...

This may seem like a simple and still popular game, but it has an absolutely epic history as one of the very first computerised games.
I'll be joining the guys at HVAC overtime in a livestream to discuss the range of exotic, but debatable additions available for home air conditioning systems.
Here's the CDI (Capacitive Discharge Ignition) module from the quad/scooter loom.

One of our more relaxed livestreams. It's on Thursday at 9:05pm British time, but you can see your local time on the video page itself.
Those of you who watch the livestreams will have seen the red wine being carbonated before.

How low can they go? How about potting the PCB in sand with a thin layer of resin on top.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed exploring this wiring system. It taught me a lot about the electrical system used in things like quads and scooters.
Tomorrow's live stream will be at a different time from normal due to the clock change here. Double check the start time shown on the video.
Thanks to Flemming's suggestion of using the hull command, I've now made the openscad olive lamp generator much more versatile. It can create the lamps shown above by defining a base sphere s...

Remember the automatic foaming soap dispenser? I was so intrigued by the dedicated foam pump that I looked on eBay to see if I could find them as a bare component.
Here are some files to play with:-
