When combined with the shading layer set to multiply the color layer comes alive with volume! This is the end result (full size)

Now I take care of color, this is relatively quick and not challenging at all, but still not as dun as sketching

Shading is the longest and the one I'm less confident in (for now!)

Lots of trial and error going on at this point, I often keep backups of my shading layer in case I experiment too much and ruin ev...
