And the Point of Salvation- Thank you very much for your fantastic and fun reaction to this phenomenal episode of The Librarians, Jessie!! I am so, so happy you feel that this episode, is by far your favorite episode throughout this show so far!! It's mine too!! This episode is actually my absolute favorite episode throughout this entire show!! I absolutely love Ezekiel Jones, who is also my favorite character throughout this show too, so of course I love this episode so much, because it's so centered around Ezekiel, and more so... because this episode gives us so much insight into Ezekiel's true character and heart. And I love it!! Plus... This episode has so much humor between our team of heroes that we love! And I love the humor between all of our main characters!!
Ezekiel Jones immediately became my favorite character from the very beginning of this show! I love his humor and charm, as well as his skills. But deep down, we can see there's more to Ezekiel that he fights to keep hidden from everyone around him, because of how he's grown up and how he's had to fend for himself for so long. Which is really heartbreaking. I love this episode really showcases Ezekiel's softer side, and shows us his true feelings for his true family and friends. So beautiful!
This episode also is so much fun because of the humor between the team. And it's constant throughout this episode just as much as the heart is as well. The balance between heart and humor is phenomenal!!
I love seeing Ezekiel fight so hard, and be willing to sacrifice everything, including his own life, all for his friends!! It's truly powerful and so important for his character! As this shows us that Ezekiel is so much more than just a lovable goofball. :)
And while it's revealed that Ezekiel has no memory of anything he went through... There is actually a look in his eyes in the very end once everyone walks away from him, that makes me wonder if he's lying about forgetting everything he did for them, in order to once again put his walls of humor and smugness around himself so that he can continue to protect his heart from any possible future pain and heartbreak. Because we know that Ezekiel isn't good with dealing with emotions and feelings. Not at all. The reasons said at the end of this episode about him not remembering anything makes perfect sense, of course. But I can't help but feel that maybe he remembers more than he's letting on to the others. If not everything. And I would love it if this is so!! :)
And lastly... I absolutely love the whole time loop/video game aspects throughout this episode as well! Time travel/time loop storylines are so much fun and fascinating! And they're all different and unique too!
Thank you very much once more for this reaction, my dear friend!! I look forward to more reactions for The Librarians from you! :)
Sincerely,
Heidi
